It's been 159 days since Carney became PM, and still nothing has been done

The Liberals are “hopeful” they’ll release a major projects list this fall. But it has been 159 days since Carney became PM, and still nothing has been done. Just more empty words and lofty promises.

The Liberals vowed projects would get built in two years, yet Canadians have seen no list, no timelines, no projects, no commitments, no results, and no clarity. That two-year countdown started when Bill C-5 passed and Conservatives will hold them to it. These are the same Liberals who killed $670 billion in natural resource projects with their anti-energy policies.

Meanwhile, 16 real projects with real proponents, worth billions, are stuck in federal review, losing time and money while Canadians lose jobs and opportunity. If the Liberals truly cared about resource development, they’d repeal their anti-development laws and fast-track those projects right now that would build oil and gas, LNG, uranium, critical and precious minerals mining, port expansions, resource roads, utilities, waste management, and more.

They have all the power to act, yet Canadians remain stuck in the layers of broken, gatekeeping, anti-development bureaucracy the Liberals themselves created.
