The best way to stimulate the Canadian economy is by unleashing all the private sector capital and job creation of the many natural resources proposals held up in the gatekeeping regulatory mess the Liberals have created. Responsible resource development is a core pillar of the Canadian economy and often the only source of jobs and revenue in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities.
However, under the Trudeau government, several pipeline and mining projects have been cancelled, and none of the 18 LNG export facilities proposed have been built because of the massive uncertainty and risk caused by the NDP-Liberals' anti-Canadian energy agenda. This keeps valuable resources locked in the ground, which hinders Canada's ability to support our allies and ensure energy security among free democracies, and prevents energy self-sufficiency.
