Honouring Our Veterans

Across Lakeland, schools and communities came together this past week to honour our veterans and remember the sacrifices made for the freedoms we are so blessed to enjoy. Here are just a few of the dozens of pictures from services across the riding.

Thank you to the teachers, staff, and students in every community who prepared heartfelt ceremonies and tributes — from handmade poppies to student-led readings, music, and moments of silence. Your respect, reflection, and gratitude truly shine through.

It’s always inspiring to see the next generation take part in remembering those who served and those who continue to serve today.
