Liberal Budget's Carbon Tax
BREAKING: The Liberal budget will KEEP and even STRENGTHEN the federal industrial carbon tax, the same tax that makes Canada LESS competitive and drives MORE investment to the U.S.
The Liberals can’t claim they want to make Canada an energy superpower, when this tax will continue to put Canadian operators at an even further disadvantage to the Americans, who don't impose this tax on themselves federally. Only the Liberal government punishes its workers while allies and competitors like the U.S. unleash their development and dominate global markets.
For the past decade, these same Liberals have blocked Canadian projects, capped growth, banned exports, and taxed producers into the ground. Meanwhile, the U.S., under different administrations and parties, has turned into a global energy superpower by supporting their development and cutting red tape.
Only Conservatives will repeal the federal industrial carbon tax to make Canada competitive and energy self-sufficient, sovereign, and secure.
