The Liberals' Bill C-69 fails Canadian workers and the Canadian resource sector. It will kill future resource development, drive jobs and investment out of the county and does nothing to enhance environmental protection.
Since day one Prime Minister Trudeau has wanted to phase out Canada’s energy sector. If the Prime Minister truly cared about energy workers, he would:
- Immediately drop the No-More-Pipelines Bill C-69
- Use the considerable powers he has to get the Trans Mountain Expansion built
- And get other pipeline projects back to the table.
Conservatives are proud of Canada’s energy sector and the wealth and prosperity it brings to all Canadians.
A Conservative government will end Justin Trudeau’s war on the energy sector by repealing Bill C-69, cancelling the ban on shipping on the BC coast, scraping the carbon tax, cleaning up Canada’s regulatory regime, and ending foreign meddling in pipeline approvals.
