The Liberals Must Define National Interest

Over four months ago, Conservatives worked to improve Bill C-5 and forced the Liberals to define “national interest” with clear, specific criteria. Since then, they’ve done nothing. In fact, in September, Dominic LeBlanc even admitted the Liberals would ignore the will of Parliament and refuse to define it at all.

Without a clear definition of “national interest,” every major project hangs on the political whims of cabinet, this is pure uncertainty with no accountability. When “national interest” is determined by broad concepts that the Liberal government decides on a case by case basis, the Liberals are able to pick and choose favourites, and make winners of a select few and losers of the rest.

This is blatant political interference. It’s deeply concerning that the Liberals would so easily dismiss the work of a Parliamentary Committee just to push their own “Liberals-know-best” agenda. All Canadians should be concerned that the Liberals continue to keep major project decisions behind closed doors without transparency or accountability.

Liberal Red Tape Kills Investment

"We used to be attractive"

When asked if Canada's regulatory environment for energy and mining has deteriorated, critical minerals expert resoundingly answers "YES."

According to him, when "you're faced with 15 years of regulatory review ... people just turn away. We're not attractive."

Experts are clear: Liberal bureaucratic anti-development red tape has driven investment and opportunity out of Canada and killed Canada's competitiveness.

Investors Need Clarity

The FEDERAL Energy Minister either doesn’t know, or won’t admit, that interprovincial pipelines fall under federal jurisdiction.

Investors need clarity, but this government has delivered only confusion.

That’s not elbows up, this only drives more energy investment away from Canada and into the U.S.

Amazing Volunteers

I am so grateful for the amazing volunteers and supporters who surround me as I continue to serve as the Member of Parliament for Lakeland.

Steve and Carol have been with us since it all began in 2014, and I truly couldn’t imagine this journey without them! ❤️ It was wonderful catching up at the Lakeland AGM — thank you again for your unwavering support.

Teamwork Makes All The Difference

Looking back at the incredible path we’ve shared since my nomination in 2014 — some of these faces have been with us from the very beginning, and many new ones have joined along the way. 💙🇨🇦

Together, this growing team has carried us through every step, year after year. You’ve helped me consistently reach our goal of knocking on 10,000 doors in past campaigns — and most recently, many of you joined us in Battle River–Crowfoot for Pierre Poilievre, helping send him back to Parliament! 🏛️
It’s more than numbers — it’s friendships, dedication, and a shared belief in what we can achieve when we work side by side.
Here’s to the past, present, and future of this amazing team. 🙌

Carney Cozies up with Communist Beijing

As if it wasn’t bad enough that Carney is handing over $1 billion in taxpayer dollars to the Beijing regime, while it punishes Canadian canola farmers with crushing tariffs, now the Liberals have cozied up to the communists even more.

It is incredibly unfair to Canada’s hardworking canola farmers that the Liberals would rather reward a foreign regime that attacks Canadian livelihoods than stand for Canadian farmers. Just like the old guy who said he admired Beijing’s “basic dictatorship”, apparently so does the new one because Carney is of course, just another Liberal.

Trudeau Broke the Law

Trudeau broke the law when he took an illegal vacation to billionaire island, on a private helicopter, with someone he had government business with.
The RCMP never laid charges and instead, they covered it up.

And while Canadians cut back on food, fuel, and housing under the Carney–Trudeau cost-of-living crisis, taxpayers got stuck with the $215,000 bill.

Canadians are right to ask: how did he ever get away with it?

This is the pattern with these bait-and-switch Liberals. They break the rules, put themselves above the law, and expect Canadians to pay for it every time. Conservatives have consistently stated no one should be above the law. Period.

Canadas Oil and Gas Innovation

Canada's oil and gas sector invests the most annually in clean tech and emissions reductions technology, more than all other sectors in Canada combined.

The only one of its kind in the world Canadian oil and gas cap will threaten that investment and bring that action to a halt.

Mark Carney must repeal the Canadian oil and gas cap to make Canada the fastest place in the world to get a permit, for the benefit of all Canadians.

Let Investors Invest in Canada

Canada should be a place where investors, entrepreneurs, and companies want to invest and build big projects to create powerful paycheques for Canadians.

Only when Mark Carney repeals the No New Pipelines Never Build Anything Anywhere Bill C-69, the Shipping Ban C-48, the federal industrial carbon tax, and the only one of its kind Canadian oil and gas cap, will Canada be able to compete, attract investment, and finally build major projects for the benefit of all Canadians.

Carneys Food Taxes

After the last lost Liberal decade, Canadians must choose between heating or eating. In Canada, food prices have risen 48% faster than in the United States and food banks are seeing record lineups.

That’s why Conservatives have proposed a concrete plan to end Carney’s taxes on food, by scrapping: the industrial carbon tax on fertilizer and farm equipment; the fuel standard tax on diesel and gasoline; the inflation tax from Carney’s increasing money-printing deficits; and the food packaging tax on plastics and packaging. Mark Carney must stop taxing groceries so Canadians can have nutritious affordable food.
